The Poetry Society (India) organizes  poetry workshop for school children writing poetry in different Indian languages. These workshops are organized in different parts of India with the support of the Department of  Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. So far workshops have been organized in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab,  Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
